As a seasonal update, Plunder was added to Call of Duty: Warzone 1 in 2020. This mode brought a new sight to Verdansk for the operators; this time, they were not tasked to just kill but to gather money! This made a massive difference for this free battle royal game, and many players enjoyed the battle intensity that came with it. However, just like the Resurgence mode, Plunder was not a part of the Call of Duty: Warzone 2 content at launch.

Now after three seasons, Warzone 2 Plunder update is out in Season 3. However, this mode has a few additions to this new game. The winner in Plunder mode is the squad with the most cash. Now for the first time, you can gather valuable items in-game (like DMZ) and sell them for more money! Plus, the Strongholds that were seen in DMZ and Battle Royal modes are now good places to loot cash for the win in Plunder. Besides these changes, Plunder is similar to what we experienced in Warzone 1.

  • Communicate well with your squad.
  • Complete in-game contracts.
  • Loot Strongholds.
  • Deposit your cash.
  • Avoid unnecessary fights with enemy players.

If you want to upgrade your weapon and just kill some targets, then your chances of winning are based on luck in Plunder. But if you really want to get that sweet XP after Plunder win, then you should know that killing isn’t the most important option here!

In fact, many players go on a killing spree, and you can actually loot some cash when killing enemy opponents. However, if you do contracts, loot strongholds, and deposit all your cash as quickly as possible, you can win. You should try to avoid unnecessary fights and stick to the plan with your squad. Also, remember that each time your team gathers a tremendous amount of cash, you’ll be marked on the map. So you have to deposit it using the Deposit Helicopter and call it in. This is while you should have your teammates covering you when doing the task.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Plunder update is out, and you can play it now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
