Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl: Valley Windworks Walkthrough

Valley Windworks, located east of Floaroma Town, is a massive wind-powered power plant. It uses enormous windmills to capture wind energy and convert it to electricity. In the story, Team Galactic led by Commander Mars is trying to take over the station to harness its energy, kidnapping a power plant worker and forcibly removing his daughter out. Until you kick Team Galactic out of the place, you will be stuck in Floaroma Town and cannot progress through. Here’s how you can get through Valley Windworks and continue your Pokemon journey past Route 205 in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl: How to Complete Valley Windworks

1. Head to the east of Floaroma Town, just off Route 205 to get to the Valley Windworks. You’ll find a Galactic Grunt guarding the door to the building. Beat him.
2. Go back to Floaroma Town, head north, and enter the Floaroma Meadow.
3. Find an old man being harassed by two Galactic Grunts for Honey. Beat them.
4. Speak to the man and you’ll receive the Works Key item.
5. Go back to the Valley Windworks. Now you can open the door using the Works Key.
6. Defeat the two Galactic Grunts along the way to reach Commander Mars. Beat all of them.
7. Once Commander Mars is beaten, the little girl can reunite with her father. Now you can go past Route 205 by heading south and occasionally encounter Drifloon around the power plant.
