Indie studio Little Neuron has announced the upcoming arrival of their first game, Robo Legend. A twin-stick shooter with RPG elements, the game tasks the player with either protecting or taking control of a town. Steam players can wishlist Robo Legend now through its page, along with links to the game’s site and social media.
Mark Your Destiny and Become Robo Legend
Players assume the role of Robo, a robot-for-hire that must help protect Gear Town from the forces of VoidBot. Villainous robots are on their way, and only Robo is up for the job. However, the narrative for Robo Legend isn’t quite linear. The game offers ten different endings based on the changing world and your decisions. You either live up to the legendary status as a hero of the town or work alongside VoidBot to conquer Gear Town. With over 25 unique main quests, the story’s trajectory can shift in more ways than one.
Robo Legend is being established as a 2D action twin-stick shooter with various features and RPG elements. In addition to the robotic chaos, players can also explore the seven main areas of the game – usually coupled with puzzles and peril. There’s a fishing mini-game, too. Who knew that being a robot was so adventurous! To see what Robo Legend is, be sure to check out the main trailer here. If you need a good reason to watch it, there’s a robot dog in the trailer as well. And yes, you can pet it.
Intrigued players can wishlist Robo Legend on Steam right now for more updates from Little Neuron. Currently, there’s no word if Robo Legend will appear during this month’s Steam Next Fest, but we might see it pop up between June 13th and June 20th. But what do you think? Is Robo Legend an indie title on its own for the ride, or will it be showcased during the Steam event? Share your thoughts down in the comments!
